Suitcases in Solidarity



Brief: Luggage startup Away had just launched their first pop up store in London. They wanted to raise awareness about the new store whilst building the brand profile with a UK audience.

Response: A brand partnership to support the Suitcases in Solidarity initiative and provide luggage to help Refugees leave the Calais camp with dignity. The partnership saw Away's pop up store become an official drop off point for Suitcases in Solidarity luggage donations, with the Away team matching donations made in store with one of their own cases. The campaign was delivered simply but effectively through social channels and in store, encouraging a London audience to visit the Away store and support a positive social initiative.

Outcome: Over 100 cases were delivered to the Calais camp by Suitcases in Solidarity. The  initiative helped communicate the values of the brand and drive footfall to the London pop up store.
